Celebration Youth is the high school ministry of Celebration Mokopane, and we are committed to see a generation transformed for the cause of Christ – We are passionate about developing young servant-leaders who will impact their school, home, and circle of friends.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS about youth
Youth nights take place on Fridays at 5pm at Celebration Church Mokopane – Parents can plan to pick up their students at 7:40pm.
At Celebration Mokopane, our Youth services are for High School age students only (grades 8 to 12)
When a high school student comes for the first time, they’ll stop by our check-in desk to fill out a quick registration form. We’ll ask for a parent/guardian name and phone number and give them a name tag. After that, they will join everyone else for games, worship, service and small groups.
For parents that are curious about what their students are doing on a Friday night, they are invited to join large group time once to check it out. However, small groups are reserved for students and leaders so they can have their own space to grow and connect. If you would like to become further involved on Youth nights, you can explore serving on our Youth Ministry Serve team at Celebration.
All students are encouraged to bring a Bible and notebook each week to engage in teaching and small group time.
At every Youth service the Lion Heart Cafe is open and selling snacks, drinks, sweeties and some hot food. So make sure your Youth Student brings their tuck-shop money if they would like to eat anything while they are at Youth.
